About the style guide
The University of Adelaide has created this style guide to provide our web and application developers a framework and variety of components which maintain a consistent appearance whilst keeping the website accessible and complying with brand standards and the University's digital experience principles.
The University of Adelaide style guide contains design components and JavaScript plugins to be used when developing a website or web application. The menu at the top right will navigate you through each section of the style guide and the menu on the left will navigate you through each sub-section.
If you are contributing to the style guide project, please review the style guide development standards and process wiki.
Using the style guide
Please review the following sections of the style guide before you begin building your website or web application:
Header & footer template
When developing an application which only requires the header and footer from the style guide, you can download the latest copy of the header and footer HTML template.
Modifier class
Throughout this style guide you will see [modifier class] used within the HTML markup demo. This is to signify the use and placement of modifier classes - seen within the description section of each style guide component.
Service level agreement (SLA)
The service level agreement describes commitments around support, tracking defects, communication, feature requests and version management for the University's style guide.
